Great Threads Embroidery was established in 1996 after Gary, his wife, and two daughters took a trip to Cape Cod and caught a glimpse of an embroidery machine stitching away in the back of an apparel shop. Gary quickly became fascinated with embroidery, sold his share of an offset printing business, and ordered an embroidery machine.
